The Chronicles of Aidan

In this book of the Concordant Vibrancy anthology, entitled "Inferno", the question presented was:

What are the ingredients to a sustainable blaze?

Conviction is a powerful ingredient. It can warp perception. It can define reality. The origin and healthiness of that trait is humanity’s temperature.

I explore conviction in the mind of the main character in "The Chronicles of Aidan"--told in present tense, from his perspective.

Are all the events happening a coincidence or does Aidan truly have a hand of it all? One will be kept wondering right until the very last line.
